Unite the Democratic Party, Damn It
It is time to entwine all branches of the Democratic party and come together, now, to defeat Sen. McCain in November. Some voters think there are 3 people running for President in November — Obama, Clinton and McCain. I’ve already expressed my views about Sen. Clinton and her husband, the former President. There are people who will never vote for a mixed-race man for President. There are people who will never vote for a woman for President. Frankly, I don’t care about them. I care about the voters who want to redirect the priorities of America. I care about the voters who believe it is time to rearrange the molecules of the political structure in our country and create a new structure, one that starts to rebuild our stature from the bottom up, not the top down. This is an opportunity that must be seized. Obama, as the Democratic nominee for President, will pull us from the bottom up, will pull us from fear-mongering to pride-inducing and problem-solving. We can get a grip and find a new direction in November if we Unite the Democratic Party, now, Damn It.
